Recently my ipod died, and I'm looking for a new one. However, I hate that I can't do proper playlists in ipod, and I hate that I have to put all my music files in my ipod's internal database. I want something where I can just upload files, .m3u files, and listen to them. No fanciness.

I started out with a simple google search.
