    • Steve forwarded email from Caroline Parkin (caroline.parkin@sheffield.ac.uk) to Elayne and I. It asked for maps/sequences to viral2A Cherry GFP plasmid. 11.17.08
    • Elayne said she would handle this by figuring out which plasmid Caroline was sent (by Patrick??) and then forwarding the information to her. 11.17.08

  • Contact Leica about the Cryostat
    • Called Leica at 1 (800) 248-0123 about the cryostat (Model CM1850 serial# 454051999) being turned off and not cooling itself after being switched on again
    • Leica dispatch called and said that the service call would be at the end of this week or early next week. Repair # 1000008322 Will call back 11.11.08
    • Called Leica and requested that I be called by Pat Griffey after he finishes work 11.17.08
    • Pat Griffee arrived and the machine was working. However, the defrost time had been changed to 1PM rather than 1AM. That still did not explain the temperatures we saw when we called. From now on we should email Pat when a problem arises rather than calling Leica to get him assigned. 11.17.08
